My Sleep Epiphany

Look, I’m gonna be honest here. I used to think I was a sleep expert. I mean, I’ve been doing it every night since I was born, right? Wrong. Turns out, I was completely wrong. And don’t even get me started on screens. I know, I know, you love your late-night Netflix binges. But those screens are wrecking your sleep. The blue light emitted by your phone, laptop, and TV is tricking your brain into thinking it’s still daytime. So, if you’re not willing to give up your late-night shows, at least download a blue light filter.

Now, let’s talk about your sleep schedule. Are you going to bed and waking up at the same time every day? No? Then you’re doing it wrong again. I know, I know, weekends are for sleeping in. But trust me, your body will thank you if you keep a consistent sleep schedule. Even on weekends.

Let me tell you about my friend Marcus. He’s a night owl, always has been. He used to stay up until 2am, sleep until 11am, and then complain about how tired he was all the time. I told him, “Marcus, you’re doing it wrong.” So, he decided to give my advice a try. He started going to bed at 11pm and waking up at 7am. And you know what?
